Your Path To Possibilities
Discover how NVCC Foundation scholarships can propel you toward your career goals. We offer a variety of scholarships for students pursuing degrees in STEM, Allied Health, Business, Liberal Arts, and more. Applications typically open in February and close in late March. The annual scholarship application cycle starts in spring and award recipients are celebrated at our annual Honors Night Ceremony in May. Check back regularly for updates on scholarship opportunities.

Application Process
- All Foundation Scholarship applications are available online and grouped by Division.
- Please be sure to review the award criteria and requirements prior to completing an application.
- Students must have declared NV as their Home Campus to be eligible for NVCC Foundation scholarships.
PLEASE NOTE: 2026 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS WILL NOT BE ANNOUNCED UNTIL LATE APRIL 2026.

Helpful Hints for Additional Scholarships
- Before you start your search, make sure you have an email account. Many scholarships will send you application information over email.
- Make sure you have basic information about yourself available to send if an organization requests a profile. Make sure you apply for these because they often do not have as many people applying for them.
- Save the entire essay that you create when applying for scholarships. Often these essays can be “recycled” and used for multiple applications. Often a paper from one of your classes may also be adapted to meet your scholarship application needs.
- Set aside a folder for your scholarship search. Create a list of all the scholarships you have applied for and key dates (deadlines, notification dates). The folder should also contain your basic profile and sample essays.
