Student Funds
Financial Support for Students
The NVCC Foundation offers several critical financial support programs to aid students facing financial challenges or hardships. From urgent to emergent needs, students are supported thanks to contributions from our local communities and sponsors.

Student Book Funds
The NVCC Foundation realizes that tuition is not the only financial burden students face. The NVCC Foundation Student Book Funds were established to support the purchase of books for students experiencing financial hardship or who need additional support for books not covered by financial aid. If awarded, funds will be distributed by the NVCC Foundation.

Student Emergency Assistance Program Fund
The NVCC Foundation’s Student Emergency Fund is a resource for Naugatuck Valley students during times of extraordinary crisis. This emergency support program was established to help students address an urgent, one-time only, immediate need such as food, shelter, transportation, utilities, and medical expenses. The intention of this modest pool of money is to support current and continuing students through an unexpected crisis so they can stay in college.
Each request will be evaluated by a committee for approval.
